I'm definitely not in the area as I am not sure where Gloucestershire is! (Geography at school we studied Africa).

Well we are getting there slowly but surely. I am a registered nurse by profession and we have to work within guidelines etc within appropriate professional boundaries so I wouldn't even attempt setting up a group like this without research and personal support for myself too....

Thought I'd give a little update.......
Believe has generated a lot of interest with fellow survivors and professional organisations.
First fundraiser raised £530! So pleased with that.
We are holding first initial consultation meeting on 19th so will be able to establish way forward from there.
Really exciting to be doing something positive.
Have support from Rape crisis, victim support, domestic violence advocacy and other non profit organisations.
So you could say few more steps forward

Hi Braveheart, well done on the fund raising.

I know its early days but when your sessions get well and truly off the ground may I suggest that you run single sex sessions. I might be wrong but for me I would personally prefer to talk, if I have to, to my own peers.

Keep up the great work. You never know, I might meet you later in the year. Holidays booked "FoD".
