Interview Ready: Mastering Mindset and Emotions

Post by Jamie »

Adina wrote:Nice to meet you! (and an invitation)

Hello everyone,

My name is Adina and I’m a childhood abuse and neglect survivor. I used to work in corporate HR but, after my CPTSD diagnosis and ensuing recovery journey, I’ve decided to become a trauma-informed coach and trainer. I now run Trauma At Work (www.traumaatwork.com) and I write on Substack (Trauma At Work | Adina Dinu | Substack). I’m based in London, UK.

I’m very glad to be here. I’ve joined HAVOCA so I can learn from other survivors, and help others when my voice might add value. I now understand how powerful collective spaces such as this one are for our healing and growth.

Aside from an introduction, this post is also an invitation! I’ve developed an email course called Interview Ready: Mastering Mindset and Emotions - a blend of lived experience, recruiter insights and trauma neuroscience that helps people who become triggered and overwhelmed during interviews become better at it. I’m offering five free seats on a first come, first served basis to HAVOCA members who are keen to give it a try, and willing to provide feedback at the end. If you’re interested, reach out using this form, and quote ‘HAVOCA’ in the Query box. I’ll comment below once the free seats are gone, so please make sure you check that first to avoid disappointment.

Big thank you to Jamie for supporting this, and I look forward to being part of the community.
